How we price

Fixed-price sprints. No timesheets. No surprises.

We sell outcomes shipped every two weeks, not hours logged. One transparent price per sprint, the same senior squad every time, cancel between sprints. Here's exactly what you pay for and what's included.

What every sprint includes

Every sprint price is fully loaded — squad, ceremonies, infra, QA and a working demo at the end.

A senior squad, not staff aug

Tech Lead, senior + mid full-stack engineers, dedicated QA/SDET and a Scrum Master. No juniors learning on your dime, no rotating faces.

Fixed sprint price, predictable budget

You know exactly what each sprint costs before it starts. No timesheets, no surprise invoices, no scope-creep games.

Working software every two weeks

Live demo at the end of every sprint. You see real progress, not status reports. Cancel anytime — no long lock-ins.

Full overlap with your timezone

Bulgaria sits in CET. Full overlap with EU/UK, mornings with US East, afternoons with US West. Real meetings, not async lag.

AI-native engineering by default

RAG, agents, evals, vector stores, streaming UIs, cost telemetry. Built by engineers who ship LLM features to users, not notebooks.

Compliance you can hand to legal

GDPR & EU AI Act by default. SOC 2-ready controls, HIPAA-aware workflows, MNDA on request, IP assignment in every MSA.

What you'll never see on an invoice

  • Hourly billing or timesheets
  • Junior engineers padded into the squad to inflate hours
  • Lock-in beyond the current sprint
  • Hidden licence, hosting or tooling fees
  • Project managers who don't write code

Where your sprint budget actually goes

We believe in pricing transparency. Rough breakdown of a typical full-delivery sprint:

Line itemShare
Senior engineering time (Tech Lead, 2× Senior, 1× Mid)55%
QA / SDET — test automation, regression, security checks12%
Scrum Master, ceremonies, planning & reporting8%
Overhead — benefits, training, tooling, infra, recruiting10%
Sales, account management & client success5%
Margin reinvested in R&D and bench resilience10%

Margin keeps the squad senior, the bench rested, and the company solvent enough to be here for your next sprint. We'd rather price honestly than discount into mediocrity.

Payment terms

Simple, predictable terms that protect your cash flow and ours. No hidden invoicing surprises.

Monthly retainer

Pay in advance

Invoiced in full at the start of each month. Squad capacity is reserved once payment clears — no chasing timesheets, no mid-month budget shocks.

Fixed-price sprint

50 / 50

50% deposit to lock the squad and start Sprint-0. The remaining 50% is due on the sprint demo before code is released to production.

First-time client

100% upfront

Sprints under $15k are payable 100% upfront. After the first successful sprint we move to standard 50/50 or monthly retainer terms.

Credit terms

Net-14 / Net-30

Net-14 is standard for approved clients. Enterprise clients with a formal PO process can request Net-30. We do not offer Net-60+ terms.

Late payment

We pause active development if an invoice is more than 7 days overdue, and reserve the right to stop work on overdue retainers. A 1.5% monthly late fee applies to unpaid balances after Net-30.

Pricing FAQ

Why fixed sprint price instead of hourly?

Hourly billing punishes you for our speed and rewards us for going slow. Fixed sprints align incentives — we get paid to ship outcomes, not to log hours. You always know what next month costs.

Why does a sprint cost $35k?

It's a senior cross-functional squad working full-time for two weeks. Fully loaded cost of a comparable in-house team in the EU/UK is ~$45–65k per two weeks, plus recruiting and ramp-up. Our price reflects senior salaries in Bulgaria, employer taxes, benefits, overhead and a healthy margin — at roughly 40–60% of Western European agency rates.

Can we start smaller?

Yes — and you should. Start with a one-week scoping sprint. You walk away with a fixed price for the build, a clear roadmap and a working relationship. Most clients then commit to a 4–6 sprint build.

What if we want to stop?

Cancel between sprints, no penalty. We don't believe in long lock-ins — if the squad isn't earning its keep, you should be free to walk.

Do you take equity instead of cash?

Occasionally, for strategic bets on funded startups, as a partial discount on cash fees. Never as a full replacement.

What about VAT, FX and payment terms?

USD invoicing, W-8BEN-E on file, no VAT for US clients. Net-7 payment terms, 50% per sprint upfront, 50% on sprint demo.

Stop comparing day rates. Start comparing outcomes.

The fastest way to know if we're the right squad: book a one-week scoping sprint. You get a fixed price for the build and a roadmap you own — whether or not we work together after.
